Inventor Bio

Kert’s love of RVs started in Kindergarten, where there was an RV dealership across the street from his school. Kert would stare out the window of his classroom at the RVs. Then he started drawing them, including floorplans and blueprints.

He was particularly intrigued by smaller spaces, especially pickup campers, because of the challenge of fitting all the necessities into the limited space.

As he got older, he noticed there was a lack of vehicle-mounted camper options for SUVs.

One day, he was playing with Legos and built a Jeep along with a camper unit that could be attached and removed.

It’s been over 20 years since that lego prototype and despite mountains of criticism and naysayers along the way, the SUV camper dream has become a reality.

The Production Team

We’ve partnered with an expert leader in the fiberglass industry, with over 60 years of experience, to manufacture the camper shells.

The shells are then transported to our shop in Eagle Creek for the interior and finish work.
